Refund Policy

We are updating our refund policy effective Febuary 1, 2023.

Refund Policies

All refunds are issued at the sole discretion of the Chaparral Ice Program Director and may be subject to the terms set forth below.

General

Refunds requested at least 72 hours in advance of any program or class will be issued (excluding camps partiesand other programs which are addressed separately). Refunds requested less than 72 hours in advance of any program or class may be issued in the form of a credit, at the discretion of the Program Director, in the event the cancellation spot can be filled immediately by someone on a waiting list. Refunds issued after a program has commenced (i.e., league draft or first class) may be issued at the discretion of the Program Director, and prorated to reflect the unused portion of the  program or class, minus a 25% administrative fee

Daily Sessions

Including but not limited to Public Skating, Stick & Puck, Freestyle, Drop-in, Power Hour, and Open Turf Time.

  • All cancellation or transfer requests must be in writing and must be emailed to support@chaparralice.com. Verbal requests will be denied and redirected to our “in-writing” clause.

  • Any requests made prior to 72 hours will be refunded or credited in full.

  • All monetary refund requests that are made 24-72 hours in advance will be subject to an administrative fee of 25%

  • Any requests made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to forfeiture of payment

Hockey Leagues

In addition to the general terms outlined above, league players are responsible for paying for their space in the league until Chaparral Ice is able to find a suitable replacement, at the sole discretion of the Program Director.

Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Classes

Refunds requested at least 72 hours in advance of any program or class will be issued (excluding camps partiesand other programs which are addressed separately). Refunds requested less than 72 hours in advance of any program or class may be issued in the form of a credit, at the discretion of the Program Director, in the event the cancellation spot can be filled immediately by someone on a waiting list. Pass Packages

Including but not limited to Public Skating Passes, Freestyle Passes, Stick & Puck Passes, Skate Rental Passes, Open Turf Time Passes, and Drop-in Passes.

Pass Packages are eligible for refunds under the following conditions.

  • The passes are not expired
  • The passes have not been applied to any sessions.

Partial Packages are eligible for partial refund minus 25% administration fee. (refund will be based on the number of remaining passes at the time of processing)

Account Credits

Account credits never expire and are applicable to any Chaparral Ice purchase. 

All account credit refunds are subject to a 25% administration fee regardless of the refund policy the credit originated from.

Events

Including but not limited to hockey games, hockey tournaments, skating shows, and skating competitions.

Event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Camps

Including but not limited to Super Sports Camp, Camp de Champs, Camp Avalanche, School year camps, and after school camps.

Private Rentals/Parties/Groups

Including but not limited to Private Ice, Private Turf, Private Rooms, Birthday Parties, Group Skating, and Corporate Events. 

A non-transferable deposit is charged for booking private rental time, parties, or group events shall be collected at the time of the reservation. Refunds or rescheduling requests provided at least 30 days in advance will result in a full refund of the entire deposit, minus a $20 non-refundable administrative fee. Refunds or rescheduling requests provided between 14 and 29 days in advance will result in half of the deposit being returned, and the other half being forfeited and non-transferable. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 14 days in advance will result in 100% of the deposit being forfeited and non-transferable. Any subsequent alterations to the original reservation (including, but not limited to, hours of ice time reserved, party size, or group size) that may result in a reduction of the overall bill will not be considered when issuing a refund under this paragraph. Terms and conditions located in the contract will supersede any conflicting language found in this paragraph.

All payments are non-refundable. Any refunds issued are at the sole discretion of Chaparral Ice Management on a case-by-case basis with a mandatory 25% administration fee.

 

Daily Sessions

Including but not limited to Public Skating, Stick & Puck, Freestyle, Drop-in, and Power Hour.

In addition to the General terms outlined above, all payments to these programs are non-refundable. Unused pre-paid tickets may be transferred to a session of equal value at the sole discretion of Chaparral Ice Management.

 

Hockey Leagues

In addition to the general terms outlined above, league players are responsible for paying for their space in the league until Chaparral Ice is able to find a suitable replacement, at the sole discretion of the Program Director.

  • In the case of a player needing to drop out with fees paid in full the players must arrange repayment between the original player and the replacement player. Chaparral Ice will not issue refunds to the original player.
  • In the case of a player needing to drop out with fees on an arranged payment plan the original players’ plan will be picked up by the replacement player. Any payments already made by the original player will not be refunded by Chaparral Ice. The original player and replacement player will need to arrange repayment in their own terms.

 

Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Classes

In addition to the General terms outlined above, all class registrations are non-refundable. In case of long-term injury or illness, a transfer of unused classes may be granted with a doctor’s note.
