All refunds are issued at the sole discretion of the Chaparral Ice Program Director and may be subject to the terms set forth below.
Refunds requested at least 72 hours in advance of any program or class will be issued (excluding camps and parties, which are addressed separately). Refunds requested less than 72 hours in advance of any program or class may be issued in the form of a credit, at the discretion of the Program Director, in the event the cancellation spot can be filled immediately by someone on a waiting list. Refunds issued after a program has commenced (i.e., league draft or first class) may be issued at the discretion of the Program Director, and prorated to reflect the unused portion of the program or class, minus a 25% administrative fee.
In addition to the general terms outlined above, league players are responsible for paying for their space in the league until Chaparral Ice is able to find a suitable replacement, at the sole discretion of the Program Director.
Learn to Skate/Learn to Play/Freestyle
Punch cards or other value purchase tickets are subject to the same refund terms, timetables, and administrative fees as programs and classes, above.
Tickets to events (including, but not limited to, hockey games and skating competitions) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refunds requested at least 30 days prior to the camp start date will be issued, minus a $20 non-refundable administrative fee. Refunds requested less than 30 days prior to the camp start date will be issued, minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. Exceptions may be made for long-term illness or sudden injury, when submitted with a doctor’s statement to the Program Director. Medical refund requests will be issued, minus a $20 non-refundable administrative fee, plus a prorated amount for each day of camp attended, where applicable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, camp fees and deposits may be transferable to other camps if the refund request is made at least one (1) week prior to the camp start date, on a space available basis. There is a $10 transfer fee for transferring camp fees and/or deposits.
A non-transferable deposit of 50% of the total amount charged for booking private ice time, parties, or group events shall be collected at the time of the reservation. Refunds or rescheduling requests provided at least 30 days in advance will result in a full refund of the entire deposit, minus a $20 non-refundable administrative fee. Refunds or rescheduling requests provided between 14 and 29 days in advance will result in half of the deposit being returned, and the other half being forfeited and non-transferable. Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 14 days in advance will result in 100% of the deposit being forfeited and non-transferable. Any subsequent alterations to the original reservation (including, but not limited to, hours of ice time reserved, party size, or group size) that may result in a reduction of the overall bill will not be considered when issuing a refund under this paragraph. Terms and conditions located in the contract will supersede any conflicting language found in this paragraph.
