ROADRUNNER REC LEAGUES

2008-09 Recreational (In-House) Youth League 

The Recreational (In-House) League includes1 game and 1 practice per week.  Players in each age group are broken into teams of 10-12 players.  In addition to the Rec League,  we offer the opportunity to play on a team in the South Texas Youth Hockey League (STYHL). Players who chose this option will get the opportunity to play in 4 additional tournaments per year and an additional one-two hours of practice ice a month as a part of the STYHL team.  League fees also include additional power skating sessions and skill development clinics, and the year end pizza party and skate. 

Registration runs from Aug. 19th through Sept. 6th.  Register online at www.chaparralice.com/enrollOnlineI35.html or in person at either location.  If you have questions, you can register in person on Tuesday , August 19th at the I-35 location.  Program Director , Angie (Schneider) Vaught  will be on site and available to answer any questions you may have.  Mite, Squirt and PeeWee registration is 6:00 - 7:00pm and Bantam and Midget registration is 7:00 - 8:00pm.  Jerseys will be available for sizing at this time.

All players must provide a current USA Hockey Registration Confirmation.  Register for a membership online at www.usahockeyregistration.com.  Click here to see the current USA Hockey age classifications. 

Mandatory Parent and Player Clinic on Tuesday September 9th, from 6:00- 7:30 pm at the I-35 location.

Mini Mite - Tuesday 5:45-6:45pm (NC) & Saturday 9:30-10:30am (I-35)

Mite - Tuesday 5:45-6:45pm (NC) & Saturday 4:15-5:15pm (NC)

Squirt - Tuesday 7:30-8:30pm (NC) & Saturday 5:30-6:30pm (NC)

PeeWee - Thursday 5:45-6:45pm (I-35) & Saturday morning (I-35)

Bantam - Thursday 7:30-8:30pm (I-35) & Saturday morning (I-35)

Midget - Tuesday 5:45-6:45pm (I-35) & Saturday morning (I35)

STYHL practice times:

Mite & Squirt - Tuesday 6:45-7:15pm (NC)

PeeWee & Bantam - Thursday 7:00-7:30pm (I-35)

Midget - Tuesday 5:15-5:45pm (I-35)

 

Checking Clinic - Sunday Aug. 7th

Mandatory for all players playing Peewee level hockey or higher for the 2008-2009 season that have not gone through a checking clinic before.  Click here for the details.
